Using Your Credit Card
The key to a successful partnership with your credit card is to pay it in full on time. Paying in full and on time is a simple rule to remember, but there are a few things you need to be aware of in order to follow it successfully. Use the following questions as a guide to using your credit card with confidence.

So... what's a credit score and why is it important?
A credit score is a number (usually between 300 and 850) that represents your creditworthiness. It’s a standardized measurement that financial institutions and credit card companies use to determine risk level when considering issuing you a loan or a credit card. Basically, it provides a snapshot of how likely you are to repay your debts on time. Having a good credit score is important because it can mean lower interest rates on loans and other forms of credit.
Run the Numbers
Fox First Rewards rate is variable APR based on the Prime Rate (currently 6.75% as of 4/2/2026), plus a margin of 7.49% for purchases; and Prime plus a margin of 9.49% for cash advances and balance transfers. The APR may increase or decrease as identified by the Wall Street Journal ‘Prime Rate’. The interest rate can change monthly on the first day of each month following a change in the Prime Rate. The APR will never be more than 27%. Any increase will lengthen the time it takes to pay off your loan. APR is based on creditworthiness at the time the account is established. Cash Back Rewards are rewards you earn under the uChoose® Rewards program. Cash Back Rewards are earned as points, with $1.00 in Cash Back equal to 1.5 points (1.5% cashback) on the Fox Cash Back and Fox Business Cash Back; on the Fox Best Rate and Fox First Rewards credit card you earn 1 point per $1.00 on qualifying eligible net purchases (purchases minus returns and credits). Any fractional reward points earned will be rounded to the nearest whole point (for example, 1.99 points will round up to 2 points). Points are not earned on cash advances, balance transfers, fees, or unauthorized transactions. Rewards are non-transferable and expire five years from the month posted. Closing your account will result in forfeiture of unredeemed points. Redemption is available as a statement credit or electronic deposit to an eligible Fox checking account with an active debit card; minimum point requirements apply. In addition, the Fox Best Rate and Fox First Rewards credit cards have additional redemption options which include merchandise, travel, and gift cards. All reward redemptions are subject to rewards program rules, terms, and conditions; additional restrictions may apply. Statement credits or electronic deposits are processed within five business days. A statement credit reduces your balance; however, you’re required to make the minimum monthly payment.
