Your Guide to Domestic and International Wire Transfers
Wire transfers are a reliable method for moving money quickly and securely between financial institutions. They’re often used for large transactions, urgent payments, or sending funds across long distances. The sections below outline the steps and details needed to complete both domestic and international wire transfers.
Easily transfer funds within the U.S. and its territories (Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands and U.S. Virgin Islands).
Wire Details
- Cutoff Time: 3:00 PM CST Monday-Friday, excluding Federal Holidays
- Outgoing Wire Fee: $18
- Delivery Time: Typically 1-2 business days

What You’ll Need to Request a Wire
Please gather the following information:
Your Information- Full name, as shown on your account
- Address (street, city, state, ZIP)
- Account number that funds and fee will be withdrawn from
- Full name, as shown on destination account
- Address (street, city, state, ZIP)
- Account number
- Phone number
- Amount
- Purpose of Wire
- Any reference info
(Examples: Invoice number, File number, Property or Vehicle description, Investment number)
- Financial Institution Name (FI where account is at)
- Address (street, city, state, ZIP)
- Routing number (ABA)
- Financial Institution Name (Larger FI receives funds for smaller FI)
- Address (street, city, state, ZIP)
- Routing number (ABA)
How to Submit Your Domestic Wire Request
Please provide the required information using one of these documents:- Printed Wire instructions from the recipient of the funds
- Completed Outgoing Wire – Member Instructions Form from Fox that you completed with the information you obtained from recipient / payee. Please print legibly or type the info in the form.
- Visit a Branch: Find the closest branch to you to complete your request in person. Don’t forget to bring your wire instructions or Outgoing Wire – Member Instructions Form.
- Call Us: Call us at (920) 993-9000 and a team member will be happy to assist you.
- Sign Electronically – If you’ve already submitted a notarized Wire Transfer Agreement Acknowledgement (with a physical signature) to Fox Communities Credit Union, we can send your form securely to you via DocuSign for electronic signing.
When wiring funds overseas, to limit delays and ensure the funds reach their intended destination, contact the payee / recipient of the funds for their financial institution’s wiring instructions.
At Fox, we send and receive international wires in U.S. Dollars only and are unable to send funds to countries that are on the U.S. Sanctions list.

- Account number / IBAN (Europe) / CLABE (Mexico)
- National / Tax ID of Recipient, if required

- Amount (in U.S. Dollars)
- Purpose of Wire
- Any reference info (Examples: Invoice number, File number, Property or Vehicle description, Investment number)
- Financial Institution Name (FI where account is at)
- Address (street, city, province, country, postal code, if applicable)
- SWIFT / BIC Code
- Some financials also require a Branch Code or Sort Code that identifies their location.
- Financial Institution Name (Larger FI receives funds for smaller FI)

- Routing number (ABA) (if domestic international) or SWIFT / BIC Code
How to Submit Your International Wire Request
Please provide the required information using one of these documents:- Printed Wire instructions from the payee / recipient of the funds
- Completed Outgoing Wire – Member Instructions Form from Fox that you completed with the information you obtained from payee/recipient. Please print legibly or type the info in the form.
- Visit a Branch – bring your wire instructions or completed form to your nearest location
- Call Us – Reach us at (920) 993-9000 and we’ll guide you through the process
- Sign Electronically – If you’ve already submitted a notarized Wire Transfer Agreement Acknowledgement (with a physical signature) to Fox Communities Credit Union, we can send your form securely to you via DocuSign for electronic signing.
Wire Details
- Wire deposits can be made to your savings, checking or money market account
- Incoming Wire Fee: $10
- Expected Wait: Same day processing if funds are received with accurate information prior to 5 pm Monday through Friday (excluding Federal Holidays)
- The sending Financial Institution should send the funds to their US Correspondent Financial and once the wire is in the United States, it will go through the Federal Reserve Bank directly to your account at Fox.
- If the sending Financial Institution requires a SWIFT CODE, please call us at 920-993-9000 for further instructions.
