Wire Transfers

  • SWIFT: Code used to identify financial institutions globally and consists of 8 letters or digits – 11 if a Branch Identifier Code (BIC) is included.
  • IBAN: Used to identify an overseas bank account typically in countries using the Euro as currency. Begins with a 2-digit alpha code to identify the country followed by a series of letters and numbers. Length can vary by country from 15 to 34 characters.
  • CLABE: 18-digit number for bank accounts in Mexico.
  • TRNO: 9-digit number that identifies Canadian financial institutions and branch locations. 
You can obtain any of these numbers by asking the payee / recipient for their wiring instructions.

Domestic wire requests received before 3:00 PM CST Monday – Friday on a business day that Fox is open will be processed on the same day, provided all receiving financial institution and the payee / recipient / beneficiary account information is complete and accurate.

Domestic wire requests made after 3:00 PM CST will be sent the next business day.

International wire requests received before 1:00 PM CST Monday – Friday on a business day that Fox is open will be processed that day. It can take up to 10 business days for international funds to be received by the payee / recipient / beneficiary, depending on the complexity of the instructions and the destination country.

International wire requests made after 1:00 PM CST will be sent the next business day.
Wire transfers are irrevocable and final once sent. If you request a reversal, Fox will submit a request to the receiving financial institution and make every reasonable effort to recover the funds; however, recovery is not guaranteed. Once the funds have been received by the beneficiary and/or the beneficiary’s financial institution, any reversal is at the discretion of the receiving financial institution and the recipient. Additional fees may be charged by other financial institutions if the reversal request is successful.
