Just say no to most requests for your personal information.
If someone calls, claims to be from Fox, and requests your account information - hang up. Chances are it's a scam.
There's no sugar-coating it: Lots of criminals are trying to get confidential information that will let them access your finances. They'll send a message – via phone, email, or text – that appears to come from a legitimate financial institution. The bogus message may instruct the recipient to submit personal data – account numbers, card numbers, or Personal Identification Numbers – often under a guise as simple as “keeping your account current.”
- Financial institutions will never contact you to verify or confirm your personal information because we already have it.
- People should never reply to a phone call, email, or text message regarding account numbers, Social Security numbers, compromised cards, or any other personal information.
- Do not open or reply to suspicious emails from unfamiliar senders. Delete them immediately.

Identity Theft Prevention
Lawbreakers will go to great lengths to separate you from your money - and steal your identity. Phony phone calls. Bogus emails. Misleading texts. All pretending to be legit messages from government agencies or businesses, when there's only one real goal - a total rip-off. Here's what you need to know to avoid being scammed.
The internet is a great source of information. Email is a fast, convenient way to communicate. But there are dishonest people who prey upon the popularity of digital media and use it to try to steal your money and your identity. Don't let them.
