Partnership with area financial institutions, local law enforcement, and federal agencies will help keep our members safe from fraud and bring justice to scammers

 

Here at Fox Communities Credit Union, one of our top priorities is the financial safety of our members. But we also care about our communities as a whole, and that includes their financial security as well. That’s why we’re proud to announce that we took part in creating the Financial Crimes Investigators of Northeastern Wisconsin group.

WHAT IS THE FINANCIAL CRIMES INVESTIGATORS OF NORTHEASTERN WISCONSIN GROUP?

Similar groups exist in the southern regions of Wisconsin, but the Financial Crimes Investigators of Northeastern Wisconsin group is the first of its kind in the area. The group consists of fraud department representatives from area credit unions and community banks, local IRS representatives, and local, state, and federal law enforcement partners. The group will work together to recognize fraud trends in the area, share information, provide training on relevant subject matter, and develop relationships between financial institutions and law enforcement. Any relevant information will then be passed along to our members in order to keep them, their identities, and their finances safe and secure.
