Information Needed to Open a Business Account
Just a moment of your time for a better financial tomorrow.
Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who owns 25% or more equity in an entity. This information is also required for individuals with significant responsibility to control, manage, or direct the organization. And so, when you open a business account, Fox will ask for a variety of documents (listed below) that allow us to accurately identify you, other owners and managers, and your business status.
You need one of the following:
- Articles of Organization (Limited Liability Company)
- Articles of Incorporation (Corporation)
- Articles of Association (Non-Profit)
- Partnership Agreement (Partnership)
- From Internal Revenue Service
This information must be supplied for anyone with 25% ownership or more and any individual with significant responsibility to control, manage or direct the organization.
- Date of birth
- Current address
- Citizenship status
- Social Security number
- Valid driver’s license
