Fox Cares Foundation Celebrates Over $144,953 Donated to Area Nonprofits in 2023
Since 2016, the Fox Cares Foundation has helped nonprofits and communities across Wisconsin
Ending homelessness, fighting hunger and increasing access to the arts in Fox Valley area communities are at the heart of the Fox Cares Foundation’s mission. Since 2016, the non-profit organization has helped organizations across the Fox Valley through fundraising, special events and grants.
In 2023, the non-profit has raised over $181,632 in donations and has provided grants and financial assistance to 32 organizations, including food pantries, shelters, safe and affordable housing, community art events, food banks and much more.
The Fox Cares Foundation raised donations through events, including Bike to the Beat, a silent auction, an inaugural clay shoot, and 3rd annual golf outing, Giving Tuesday and more. That year, those donations went to 32 Fox Valley area organizations that were in line with the Foundations’ mission to end homelessness, fight hunger and increase access to the arts.
One of the many grant stories to come out of the 2023 was the Foundation’s partnership with the St. Joseph Food Program. The program serves 9,000 individuals each year thanks to community support. That year the Fox Cares Foundation provided a grant of $5,000 to support the program’s backpack food assistance initiative, which provides age-appropriate breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks to 1,500 students who might not otherwise have food over the weekend.
