What is a wire transfer, anyway?
A wire transfer is one of the fastest, most secure ways to send money directly from your account to someone else’s—whether they’re across town or across the globe. It’s a digital handshake between banks that moves funds fast and gets the job done.
Sending Money Within the U.S. (Domestic Wires)
- Cutoff Time: 3:00 PM CST (Monday–Friday, no Federal holidays)
- Outgoing Wire Fee: $18
- Delivery Time: Usually 1–2 business days
- Incoming Fee (if you’re receiving): $10
- Same-day deposit if everything checks out
International wires take a bit more planning but we’ve got you covered:
- Cutoff Time: 1:00 PM CST (Monday–Friday)
- Outgoing Wire Fee: $100
- Delivery Time: Can take up to 10 business days
- Incoming Fee: $10
- Funds must be sent in U.S. dollars
