STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO STOP PAYMENT ON A CHECK USING FOX DIGITAL BANKING

To stop payment on a check using Fox Digital Banking, simply log in and select Menu, then Services and Stop Payment. From there, review the stop payment terms, then simply fill out the Form (Account Number and Check Number are Required Fields) and select Request Stop Payment. Once your request has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation message that says, “stop payment successful.” The stop payment fee** will then be charged to your account. Thanks to already-in-place authentication steps for Fox Digital Banking users, there is no need for any additional forms or signatures*** to complete the stop payment request for your check.

And if you enjoy that kind of convenience, then be sure to also check out our Fox Mobile Banking App. Our friendly Fox team is always ready to help if you have any questions, too, so please don’t hesitate to contact us or stop by one of our

Fox locations.

*Only physical checks can be stopped using this process within Digital Banking. ACH stop payments will continue to be handled by the user contacting the credit union.

** Current Stop Payment Fee is $17, effective 5/15/2022 fee will be $20 per item/series of checks.

*** If you decide to cancel the stop payment, please contact the credit union.
