Looking for an easy way to pay your friends and family members?

Take advantage of Popmoney payment services. It lets you pay virtually anyone using their name, email address or phone number. Funds are electronically deducted from your Fox Communities Credit Union account allowing you to easily:

• Send money to your child at college
• Send a gift to family and friends
• Pay back friends
• Pay rent to your landlord or roommates

Q: What if some of my friends & family aren’t Fox Communities Credit Union members? Can they still use Popmoney?

A: They sure can! People who don’t use a bank or credit union within the Popmoney network can still use it by going to popmoney.com. There, they can send and receive money just as you can do here at Fox.

How to activate Popmoney through Fox’s Digital Banking:

1. Log into Digital Banking
2. Click on the ‘Menu, then ‘Transactions’ and ‘Bill Pay” – Bill Pay must be activated in order to use Popmoney through Digital Banking
3. Once you’re in Bill Pay:
   • For mobile devices select Options, and then Visit Bill Pay Site to be directed to the full Bill Pay website.
   • For desktop computers, proceed to step 4.
4. On the Bill Pay website, choose Popmoney from the menu.
5. Follow the activation instructions and you’re ready to use Popmoney!

Here’s how Popmoney works:

1. Within the Popmoney tab of Bill Pay, you can choose whether you want to send to someone or request money from someone.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen to send or request money.
3. An email or text message automatically notifies the other person to either deposit their money, or to pay the request.
4. That’s it!

The standard three-day transfer using Popmoney is free. There is a $1.00 charge for a 1-day transfer. A $.75 charge applies to each request for money sent through Popmoney.
