It’s time once again for our annual Shred Fest! If your spring cleaning has left you with a pile of sensitive documents that you need to get rid of, we will be at the J.E. Hamilton Community House in Two Rivers on May 15th to take up to five grocery bags’ worth of paper off your hands – FREE OF CHARGE!
We will also take the following electronic items for free:
|AC units||Exercise Equipment||Rechargeable Batteries|
|Bikes||Household Appliances Big & Small||Refrigerators and Freezers|
|Cell Phones||Laptops||Stereos/CD Players|
|Computer Towers||Microwave Ovens||Stoves|
|Copiers/Printers/Fax Machines||Phone Systems||Washers Dryers|
|Dehumidifiers||Pots and Pans||Wire & Cabling|
|DVD/VCR||Power Cords||Anything Metal|
There are some items that we will have to charge a small fee to dispose of for you. This is due to them containing hazardous materials, such as lead, cadmium, or other heavy metals and substances that are detrimental to the environment and costly to recycle. Thank you for your understanding and help to make sure these electronics don’t end up in our rivers, ditches, or landfills.
$10.00 – Refigerators/Freezers
$10.00 – Monitors
$15.00 – $30.00 Televisions (dependent on screen size)
We are grateful to be part of a fantastic team of organizations who work together to make these shred events happen. Thank you to Junior Optimist International & Two Rivers Optimist Club, Norsec, and Shred-It for their parts in making Shred Fest happen!
