It’s beginning to look a lot like the holiday season, everywhere you go throughout northeastern Wisconsin. And no holiday season is complete without numerous family-friendly events and festivals to attend. So, if you’re looking for holiday fun, holiday cheer, holiday lights, or anything else to do with getting into the holiday spirit, this is the place for you. Happy holidays, happy new year, and enjoy all the season has to offer!

Get in the holiday spirit with these holiday festivals in the Fox Valley, Green Bay, Oshkosh, Manitowoc, and beyond
Nov. 18 – On Broadway Tree Lighting: The Lighting Ceremony is an annual tradition in the Broadway District that kicks off the start of the holiday season. The event is full of family-friendly activities to enjoy as you stroll through along Broadway St., including horse-drawn sleigh rides, carolers, holiday window displays, and Santa.
Nov. 19 – Light Up Appleton: Check out Houdini Plaza and Downtown Appleton to see all the holiday fun our local businesses have is store for us. Festivities include a treat walk, a window walk scavenger hunt, live music, and so much more holiday fun.
Nov. 25-Dec. 25 (Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays) – Fox Cities Festival of Lights: We’re proud to once again sponsor the Fox Cities Festival of Lights. You’ll even see some volunteers you know on opening night, as Fox staff will be there – so make sure you say hi! Parking can be found on the east side of the park or at Sunrise Elementary School. The event is free, though donations will be accepted (and greatly appreciated).
Nov. 25-Dec. 29 – Lights in Lincoln Park: Join the animals of the Lincoln Park Zoo in Manitowoc for a festival of lights unlike any other, with over 70 wild animal light displays (many of which are animated), visits from Santa, and Fun Walks. The event is on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from Nov. 25-Dec. 10, then every night from Dec. 15-Dec. 29.
Nov. 25-Dec. 31 – Oshkosh Celebration of Lights at Menominee Park: Admission to the Oshkosh Celebration of Lights is $20 per carload, though that price is reduced by $5 if you bring a nonperishable food item or sealed hygiene item to donate. There will also be multiple Community Nights throughout the season featuring free admission. Fox will be sponsoring one of those Community Nights on Friday, Dec. 2, and we hope everyone will come out to join us! We’re also hoping everyone will bring a toy for our Toys for Tots collection. Other activities include Santa hanging out in his workshop, carriage rides, and weekly gift card drawings.
Nov. 25-Dec. 30 (Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) – Garden of Lights @ Green Bay Botanical Garden: Celebrating its 26th year, WPS Garden of Lights is the Garden’s largest annual fundraiser. On average, 50,000 visitors experience this dazzling and engaging light show. More than 325,000 lights sparkle throughout the Garden creating a stunning winter landscape filled with a variety of nature-inspired light displays from the iconic Caterpillar, Icicle Forest, and Butterflies in Motion to the Weather Walk and Under the Pond.
Nov. 26 – Small Business Saturday: Is there a type of shopping that’s more fun than holiday shopping? Of course not! So, get out there and support the small businesses that make up our community while enjoying all they have to offer – and plenty of fun surprises along the way, too!
Nov. 27 – Christmas at the Pond: Join us for the lighting of our Christmas display and a night of Christmas celebration! Santa will be there, of course, and there will also be singing, fire pits, and fun for the whole family. And don’t forget to stop by the Fox booth for a free gift for the kiddos!
Dec. 1-12 – 12 Days of Christmas: On Broadway, Inc.’s 12 Days of Christmas promotes 12 businesses in the Broadway District between Dec. 1 and Dec. 12. One business will be featured each day, with a gift valued at $100 from that business being given away on Facebook!
Dec. 2 – A Very Neenah Christmas: Downtown Neenah transforms into a holiday haven! Santa, his reindeer, a hand bell choir, carolers, a performance by Suzuki Strings, ice skating, an ice sculpture garden, and much more are all part of the festivities. The event is free, though donations are being accepted for Future Neenah. Fox is proud to sponsor this joyous occasion and we hope everyone can make it to join in on the fun!
Dec. 2 – Holiday Lights in Voyageur Park: Fox is proud to sponsor the inaugural De Pere Holiday Light Festival in Voyageur Park. The light displays will be lit up on select days throughout the holiday season.
Dec. 2 – Winter Wonderland on the Wolf: Downtown New London is transformed into a wonderland of lights, trees, décor, and more. The parade happens at 5 p.m., with Santa visits at Longevity Nutrition afterwards. The first 300 kiddos will receive a Santa bag filled with goodies!
Dec. 3 – Breakfast with Santa: Santa is coming to Pulaski to enjoy breakfast, pictures, live music, and holiday activities. Make sure you don’t miss out!
Dec. 3 – Great Holiday Dash: Team up with family and friends for the holiday scavenger hunt of the year. You and your team will decipher clues and find hidden surprises throughout downtown Appleton. Good luck – you’re going to need it!
Dec. 3 – Black Creek Visit with Santa: The Black Creek Fire Department will be hosting Santa to celebrate the kick-off to the Christmas season. Canned goods donations will be collected for the less fortunate in the community. There will also be refreshments served by the Black Creek Lions Club.
Dec. 5-16 – Fa La La La Local 12 Days of Christmas: This is an interactive social media event designed to inspire local gift ideas and support our small business community. Each day, the Heart of the Valley Chamber will purchase a holiday gift idea from a local business, promote the gift on social media, and host an interactive holiday-themed contest giving community members a chance to win it!
Dec. 10 – Green Bay Children’s Museum Breakfast with Santa: Join us for a truly magical event. Guests can enjoy live reindeer, Queen Elsa, gingerbread decorating, elf shenanigans, a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, and meeting the most popular man in red, Santa!
Dec. 10 – Clintonville Christmas Story: Come enjoy children’s games, a visit with Santa, crafts with Mrs. Claus and her elves, and more in the festively decorated community center. A special goody bag awaits each child.
Dec. 17 – Fox Movie Night: We’re proud to sponsor the holiday classic “Home Alone” at the Time Community Theater in Oshkosh. The movie is free to the community, and reservations can be made to ensure you get a seat.
Dec. 18 – Breakfast with Santa in Two Rivers: Breakfast starts at 9:30am and Santa will arrive after breakfast at 10:30am, so don’t forget your camera! Non-perishable food items will be collected for Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry.
