UPDATE: Almost 4,000 coats collected for Coats for Kids

Thanks to all your generosity, our Fox Coats for Kids collection was able to bring in 3,740 coats and hundreds of other cold weather items! Thank you all for your help in keeping the kids in our communities warm this winter.

Help us keep kids warm during our long, cold Wisconsin winters by donating new or gently used coats

Fall is in full swing here in the Fox Valley area – and throughout Wisconsin, for that matter – which means winter is right around the corner. And anyone who’s spent even a little time in our great state knows that means things are about to get really cold and really snowy. For the most part, we’re all used to it by now. If nothing else, we know what we need to wear to handle the biting winds and sub-zero temperatures. But there are many out there who simply aren’t able to afford the clothing necessary to keep warm – and that’s where all of us come in. By teaming up with the shared goal of keeping kids warm in mind, we can make this year’s Coats for Kids Collection better than ever before.

How can I help keep the kids of the Fox Valley area, greater Green Bay area, and Manitowoc area warm this winter?

The answer to that question is an easy one – just stop by any of our Fox locations to drop off a new or gently used children’s coat through October 28th, 2021, and we’ll make sure it gets to a kid who needs it. And don’t worry if you don’t have a new or gently used coat for a kid – you can still help! That’s because we’re also accepting monetary donations that will be used to buy some coats for kids. With so many ways to help, we’re sure to keep a lot of kids warm this winter. Speaking of that…

Let’s collect more coats than ever before!

Unsurprisingly, with everything that was going on last winter, we had a bit of a down year with our Coats for Kids collection. We were still able to collect over 1,000 coats – which is awesome! – but it was a far cry from the over 3,000 coats we collected the year before. With that in mind, let’s collect more than ever this year and make sure no child is left out in the cold!
