(Green Bay, WI) – The 4th Annual Wiener Dog Race presented by Fox Communities Credit Union is set for Saturday, February 6, 2016, 7:05 pm during the Gambler Hockey game at the Resch Center. All participating wiener dogs will race in the first intermission for the right to be crowned 2016 Wiener Dog Champion. Race consists of the dogs running the length of the ice.

The main event takes place in the second intermission. Wiener dogs Marley and Charlie go head-to-head in a $1,000 winner take all race. Marley will be racing for WIXX 2016 Christmas Wish Recipients and Charlie for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Prize money is compliments of Fox Communities Credit Union and the Green Bay Gamblers.

Fans are also asked to bring items for the Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary. Items include; Garbage Bags, Canned Cat Food, Purina Cat Chow original (blue bag), Canned Dog Food, Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets, Towels or blankets (used is fine) and cash donations will also be accepted. Those who bring an item will be registered to win a Gamblers signed game jersey or a $50 gift card to Badger Sports Park.
