The Diaper Drive was a Success!

Posted on by Lynn Marie Hopfensperger

Our Fox branches were a collection site for the diaper drive that recently took place.  With the help of some of our fellow credit unions and foundations, we helped United Way Fox Cities reach its $60,000 goal!

During the drive we also collected a lot of diapers, in addition to donated dollars. To even out what is distributed, the United Way gave us the opportunity to do some team building with the staffs of the credit unions that participated. The goal was to repackage and organize the donated diapers for easier distribution to families in need.

With the help of Rob and the Timber Rattlers, we repackaged 30,000 diapers! I think when you see our first group picture and the one we took after the 30,000 diapers, you’ll realize that’s a lot of repacking. We all turned into diaper boxes by the end of the evening!
