Green Bay Bullfrogs with the Boys & Girls Club
Posted on by Lynn Marie HopfenspergerOn Wednesday, June 24 Fox gave out cash at the Green Bay Bullfrogs game and a lot of people won free money just for attending the event. I could say Fox was a good community partner by doing this, but quite honestly, the fun our staff (including me) had was working with about 150 kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay.
Fox staff volunteered to run a bunch of games that the kids could play prior to the baseball game. They played the games and received tickets to trade in for a chance to win some neat prizes. While all of that was really good (we’ve got awesome volunteers), what really tells the story was the pictures I saw from the event after it was over.
It’s crazy, you spend a lot of time putting together what you think will be a good event, and they usually are, but we’ve never had someone actually come to the events and take pictures. The smiles you’ll see in our pictures make me so happy we did this event. You just don’t see those types of smiles and hear the laughter often enough. These kids were amazing as were their counselors and our staff. A good time was had by all and we can’t wait until next year. Enjoy the pics!!
