Week 8: $8 (days) A Week

Posted on by Lindsay Diedrich

This week’s number is eight. Eight dollars goes into my 52 Week sub-savings account, bringing my total to $36. As I continue to update this blog, I have to admit, I struggle to come up with ways to save. It’s not very likely I continue on with these articles by saving sequential dollar amounts up until week 52. Just as it’s unlikely I’ll be able to find song titles with numbers 1-52 in them.

Soda Drinkers: Find the Best Deal!

Because saving money has been top-of-mind for me, I do find myself searching for the best deal on nearly everything I buy. For example; I’m a Diet Coke fiend (there’s a reason I’m not writing a health blog). But soda gets pricey. NEVER buy twelve packs from a convenience store. Unless you don’t mind paying around six dollars for it. My go-to? Stocking up when it’s on sale at Walgreen’s. Three packs for ten bucks. Sold! Normally, a 12-pack will cost around four-five dollars. You can save roughly five dollars by searching out these deals. I just look at the weekly ads online before I decide where to purchase from.

Are you following the 52 Week Savings Plan?

The Beatles. Does it get any more iconic?
